Certified Veterinary Technicians
All my life, I have had a passion for animals. Growing up in Canistota, SD, I participated in 4-H showing horses and owned a Shetland Sheepdog named Cody. I graduated from Globe University in September of 2013 with a degree in Veterinary Technology. In the time since graduation, I have become certified and registered in my field. I currently live in the Mitchell area with my two kids and a menagerie of pets.
Shelby grew up on a small family farm east of Parkston and has always been surrounded by animals, big and small. She graduated from Globe University with a degree in Applied Science in Veterinary Technology in 2015. Shelby has many furry animals including three dogs and two cats.

Dog Obedience Training/ Boarding/ Daycare Manager hails from the state of Iowa. She moved to Mitchell at a young age and graduated from Mitchell High School where she met her husband (Todd). They have 3 sons (T.J., Levi, and Wyatt) who were very active in 4-H shooting sports, horse, dog, and cat projects. Michele became a 4-H leader and project leader for horse, dog and cat, served on the state horse and state dog committee and remains to be active in the Dog project today. Michele obtained a lot of her training techniques by working with all the different breeds of dogs and different owners. She became a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator and had her Therapy Dog Certified. Her personal goal is helping people to understand their dogs needs and working with both of them to be successful. She is excited to be a part of the staff at Creekside and can't wait to help you and your dog.
Sierra grew up in Chamberlain, SD where she spent a lot of her time on her family farm working cattle and farming. In 2015, Sierra moved to Mitchell to attend Mitchell Technical Institute for Agriculture Production and graduated in 2017. While in school, Sierra became an intern here at Creekside and discovered her passion for working with dogs. Although Sierra had never owned a dog of her own before, we quickly noticed her natural care for animals. Sierra also enjoys outdoor activities such as being at the river, working with animals, playing softball and do-it-yourself projects.
Crystal resides outside of Mitchell at Reclamation-Ranch with her husband Quinton, Son Quincey and daughter Lilly, their three dogs Ralph, Rain and Rocket, two cats Dave Kitty and Duke, many horses and 13 farm cats. Crystal enjoys assisting individuals and horses to achieve their life goals through therapeutic animals at Reclamation-Ranch and Helping with Horsepower. She also loves working and being outdoors. Joining the team at Creekside Veterinary Clinic has allowed her to continue her passion of helping people and their animals as a fellow compassionate steward of animal health.

Melissa's very first grooming was her families long haired cat when I was 16 years old. I hand scissored Fluffy in short increments over the course of two days. Little did I know, that interest would end up being a wonderful second career choice! I grew up in Mitchell, and currently live near Alexandria on a farm with my husband and our family. We have a dog, a lot of cats, horses & cattle. I have been grooming for over 25 years.
