The Creekside Veterinary Clinic mission is to be the trusted partner in animal health. By executing a high level of veterinary medicine with a friendly well-educated team, we will exceed our clients’ expectations. Our facility will also be safe and accommodating for our patients and clients.

History of Creekside Veterinary Clinic

The idea of Creekside Veterinary Clinic was created so the people of Mitchell and the surrounding areas have an outstanding animal health organization they can trust for the care of their companions and livestock. The clinic will be a mix between companion animal, livestock, and their compassionate owners. Initially, when Creekside started in 2015 the clinic was to be comprised of a single doctor, support team and a two-exam room clinic with a large animal facility and ambulatory capabilities. Since then, the clinic has continued to grow and the addition of new part time veterinarians and team members along with a third-exam room have been added. All team members will be aligned with our mission and goals so our patients and clients can be trusted in their care.

What to Expect?

New to Creekside…no problem…

We always welcome new clients and patients at our full service veterinary clinic. Our team will work extremely hard for you to trust us to care for your animals.

When you arrive at Creekside you will be greeted warmly and will be taken into an exam room as soon as possible. We encourage you to enjoy some refreshments and browse our retail areas anytime during your stay. Sometimes there may be delays with your appointment time, due to unforeseen emergencies. If something like this occurs, we ask for your patience. With respect to your time, you also have the option to drop-off your four-legged friend to our care and we can call you when we are done.

Typically, you and your pet will be escorted into an exam room by an Assistant or Technician. Here we will be confirming your contact and pet information. When all of the information has been complete, an Assistant or Technician will obtain a brief history for the doctor. Any lab work or radiographs needed will also be done at this time.

Next, you will see one of our veterinarians. (If you prefer a doctor, please let us know and we will certainly try to accommodate). Finally, an Assistant or Technician will finish the appointment with some educational materials, answer any other questions and set up future appointments.

We are excited to meet you and your four-legged family!

Large animal clients will have the opportunity to use our haul-in facility or have us come to your farm to treat your livestock. When you have an appointment at the clinic, you will be able to pull through the west side of the facility. This assures that there is no backing up. Your livestock will be cared for in a timely and efficient manner and never have to step foot outside. The livestock will be handled gently and we will all feel safe in our facility.
